This is one of the best books about the archaeology of the book. It discusses the discovery of ancient Egyptian papyri, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Codex Sinaiticus and other related topics. This book brings together material from disperate sources and material mostly available only in academic/scholarly publications. Also, this book is just great reading. ( )
