Sep 2021: have recently reread and still enjoyed. Features a complicated plot involving a film studio who intend using an extremely important financier to play the lead role in a film appropriately entitled "High Finance".
The action switches back and forth between the Elstree studios, Ted Jerningham's house on a misty Dartmoor and Drummond's flat and other watering holes in London. There are the usual formidable opponents plus one unexpected foe reappears.
Less physical action by Drummond but still an enjoyable read. (
