Great story that has been reviewed to death so there's little that I can add. Well written, smooth read, a little annoying with all the "daddy", hot sex and a HEA ending. Loved the quote at the end. Definitely recommended. ( )

I really liked the book in general. The couple is amazing together despite their age difference or the way they've met.

That said, I hate to admit that I can't give it more than three stars.
The whole "daddy/blankie-sucking" thing (ok, cocksucking too, but still, the boy constantly feels a strong urge for sucking his Daddy's tits) messes with my head. I wish Angel was more of an 18-year old and less of a baby.


There is also this: How can a mature person, an experienced Dom on top of it, leave someone helpless, locked in a cage, not for an hour or two, while grocery shopping (which is still unforgivable), but for a prolonged period of time? O.o ( )

I had to think for a bit what to rate this book. While I'm aware that I do tend to be generous I don't just give a book a 5 star rating for nothing. It truly has to do something for me. And I had to think about this one. I'll admit, that "Daddy kink" isn't necessarily my favourite. It's not something I'll go looking for. But it doesn't worry me either when I read about it.

I loved Kael. He started off as a real bully...not just a Dom, but brutal, hard and completely uncaring. But we got to see a softer side once he met Angel. And Kael started to grow on me in that instance. Angel on the other hand...

Angel I loved from the beginning. He's young, impulsive, with a mischievous streak that made me laugh. But he did display some slightly disturbing behaviour which made the "Daddy" bit at times slightly uncomfortable for me. But he grew as well during the story.

So between 2 damaged MC's, the emotional journey of their developing relationship, and the action that happens in this book, I honestly couldn't rate it any lower than 5 stars. I'm truly looking forward to reading the sequel. ( )

OK, I admit it... I loved this book! Obviously, Angel is a total sweetheart, but surprisingly, I quickly fell under the spell of bad-ass Kael too! And the 'naughty bits'? Hot, HOTTER, SCORCHING! ;) ( )

Required massive suspension of disbelief. Loads of daddy kink. ( )
