This really is an interesting, colorful book that includes some of the weirdest animals on earth. From blue-tongued skinks and brush-snouted weevils to red-tipped batfish and frilled lizards, this book tells all about one hundred one really freaky animals. It is disappointing in one way---that is it does not tell much about each animal except what makes them freaky. Scientific names of each animal are not included and the author does not provide sources of information for each animal. There is no way to know if the information provided is true about each animal. Photo credits are listed. This book leaves me at a loss to google each animal's common name and hope that I find more about the animal such as its scientific name, food source, habitat, etc. This book could be useful in introducing a study of animals and animal adaptations to their environment. The perfect book for students just to have fun with. ( ) This book show animals that a very different. This book could be used in any grade level because the information is accurate and the pictures are great. The book engages the reader with pictures as well as interesting facts about the animals. It was given a 5 out of 5 because of the pictures and the information was really good. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
