All books in the series are a set of graphic novels that follow the life of middle school boy Greg Heffley. The books tell his coming-of-age story, and give a glimpse into what life is like for a preteen boy from a middle class family. The books appeal greatly to young readers because of their sense of humor, illustrations, and overall easy to connect with story-line. These books could be used in grades 3+ because of their use of language and medium length. A fun activity to do with students would be to read the book and then watch the movies to compare and contrast events in the story, character attributes, setting, and so on. Students could see how differently the book was interpreted when shown through a different form of media. This book could also be a fantastic introduction into the world of graphic novels and how they compare to picture books and chapter books. These books are a very fun and page-turning read for young students. ( ) These books are surely hillaraious to every one that reads them. Jeff Kinny is so great at making these comics ( well books to.) They make you read the entire seiries !! Freg has a weird way of explaining himself in . . .well . . .a good way ( EVERY ONE thinks he's wimpy!!). Only his friend Rowly ( weirdo too) understands him. To Greg middle school is extremly hard for him he really doesn't have a good friend. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
