This book is about a man who visits baby "elephanties" at the "elephantery" to take care of them all day. In my opinion, this would be a good book for a parent or caretaker to read to their child as it really shows the importance and fun spending time together. Mr. Elephanter makes the baby elephants breakfast, takes them to a parade, and then tucks them in at the end of the story. This being comic artist Lark Pien's debut picture book, the illustrations were very detailed and really brought the whole story together. ( )
