One Drowsy Dragon is a counting book where the amount of dragons on each page increases. One drowsy dragon is struggling to get rest because all of the other dragons are causing a ruckus. The story line for the book is basic, but is right on par for the audience it is intended for. I think age appropriate children would like this book because of the illustrations and goofy dragons. ( ) Grades PS - 1 Busy dragons abound in this counting book that features a grumpy older dragon who is trying his best to sleep. Try as he might, he is interrupted... by one dragon clanging on a cup, then by two dragons engaging in space-ray battle, then by three dragons practicing their tap dancing, and so on. The illustrations are bright and engaging, adding to the silliness. Children will enjoy the rhyming text and various sound effects throughout. The older dragon gets the last laught when the smaller ones come in to sleep and he-- finally able to close his eyes-- keeps them awake with his snoring. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
As one dragon tries to take a nap, his ten little dragons, in increasing numbers, disturb his sleep by making milk shakes, screaming at scary movies, and playing loud games. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
