I read this for the "Author Whose Last Name Starts With The Same Initial As Yours" part of my 2020 reading challenge. It was good, but I didn't find it as "laugh out loud" funny as the author's other series. ( ) 1 Performing Arts College (Unexpectedly All-Girls) 1 Comedic Performance of Wuthering Heights 1 Bicycle Ballet 1 Gloriously Moody Yorkshire Dale Several Bouts of Panicked Comedic Irish Dancing 3 Possible Boy Interests of which 1 Inspiration for Heathcliff 2 Owlets 1 Preternaturally Wise Pre-Teen 2 Oddly Staring Twins Rennison has once again brought to life a highly memorable and ridiculous protagonist in the form of Tallulah Casey. Tallulah has a penchant for awkwardness and Irish dancing, as well as Georgia's strange sense of humour and vocabulary. It's like the novel is about Georgia's strange little sister! Except if there were actual novels about Libby they would be infinitely stranger... I am definitely looking forward to reading more about Tallulah's adventures at the performing arts college in Yorkshire! Louise Rennison is back! Not with Georgia, sadly, but with her younger cousin Tallulah in "Withering Tights". Tallulah is spending the summer at a college acting workshop in Yorkshire. She's not like Georgia: she's more serious and shy and not as prone to doing zany things just for the sake of it, but she still manages to get herself into some amusing situations. I enjoyed it, but damn, it made me miss Georgia so much. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Self-conscious about her knobby knees but confident in her acting ability, fourteen-year-old Tallulah spends the summer at a Yorkshire performing arts camp that, she is surprised to learn, is for girls only. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
