Why the comma in our name?
We believe God is still speaking. We are open to new ideas, learning and scholarship, and we appreciate being stretched in our thinking and in our understanding of our faith and our world. We are supportive of other religious traditions and we are committed to learning about and from them.
We seek to understand the needs in the community around us and we are moved to take action. Whether the issue is one of justice, food security or shelter or countless other issues, we find ourselves called to respond as Jesus would have us do.
