Nicola’s Books is the only major independent bookstore in Ann Arbor and is one of the leading independents in the Metro-Detroit area. We have been in our current location for 20 years and have been in the book business for 40 years.

We have an excellent relationship with the community especially with the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor Public Schools.

We like what we do and what we do well is sell books. Our staff is made up of avid readers who make well informed recommendations for our customers.

We also are very active with on and off-site events. Our monthly newsletter will give you all the information you need about our upcoming events.
