This gargantuan bookshop has moved from its previous location at the end of King Street to number 536, near the New Theatre. I haven't been there for a long time but my two or three visits were memorable, as Bob Gould was still alive and sitting at the counter. One of the significant figures in Australian bookselling, and left wing politics, he ran his bookshop for many, many years. His family still does and it contains worlds.
