As of 2017 the long time owner of the popular local bookstore, renowned for it's collection of books on local Perth history has decided to close the business. Well reported on the news at the time on Perth city's radio and broadsheets (e.g. https://www.6pr.com.au/podcast/serendi...)

Nice place to sit down and browse a good book. Lovely prices, and the sofa's are comfy, the staff welcoming. The railway station is just across the road too, and street parking isn't a problem.
