Dark Horse Bookshop is a quasi-alternative used (and new)bookshop in Victoria, BC. If it is "out there" it is in here. From radical politics to metaphysics and the occult, we stock the books. We have been called a 'liberal arts' bookshop, but we are more than that. We hold exhibitions of local fringe and emerging visual artists; we host readings and book launches; we offer space for educational initiatives and much, much more. We are an oasis of serenity in an often otherwise wacked-out city. We are home to edgy discussion and time lost in bookish pastimes. On our shelves you are likely to find fragments of your lost childhood and elements of your fantastic future. Our poetry section is second to none in this city and our theatre bookshelf is full of wonderful treats and fabulous finds. Drop by.
