- Julias Café & Books is a fundraising division of Habitat for Humanity Charlotte. We are located right next to the Habitat ReStore on Wendover Road in Charlotte, N.C. Julia’s offers a huge and unique selection of used books as well as delicious locally roasted coffee and local and organic breakfast and lunch options. So come enjoy the warmth of your favorite coffee drink and a bite to eat while you explore our great selection of books!
Julia's Café & Books is named after Julia Maulden, Habitat Charlotte's first Executive Director, and a pioneering public servant.
Our selection of books can't be beat, and neither can our prices! We have thousands of books in nearly every genre—history, cooking, young adult, politics, religion, a huge children's section, and many more!
Whether a stop on your morning commute, a gathering for your book club, or a Saturday morning hang out, Julia’s offers a unique gathering space. Let us know if you’d like to reserve Julia’s for a group event.
If you're looking for something fun to do with your children on a Saturday morning, Julia's has you covered! Every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in our children's section, one of our amazing volunteers reads to kids of all ages.
Are you interested in hosting a Book Drive for Julia's? Your office, church or book club can be a great resource for book donations to Julia's. We provide the containers, you provide the book donors, and all the proceeds support Habitat! Contact us at 704.295.4585 or books@juliascafe.org.
