I like the idea of this challenge. I've just been looking into Norwegian authors prior to my first ever visit there coming up in the summer, and it will be good to have a focus for broadening my reading horizons to include other parts of Europe which I don't yet know much about.

I may not post frequently here (I'm mainly active in the 75 book challenge group), but will try to remember to record the new reading that is relevant, and maybe back-date it a bit too.

This map now shows the countries in Europe which I've visited on this literary tour, since beginning of 2010:

Hi Genny, glad to see you're here again, taking up the brave task of literary conquerring Europe. I've halted my tour for a while as I'm very busy right now, but I'm looking forward to continue where I stopped. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Welcome! We're a small but patient bunch here, making slow but steady progress. (I expect to have covered half of Europe's countries by the end of 2011, and then I'm among the fastest movers here :)

Nice seeing you here. As soon as I start a challenge like this one, I find myself reading books from every other part of the world. I'm on solid Anglo-American reading at the moment, so not colouring in any new countries!
