Have You Seen It? What did you think about it?

I enjoyed the movie, though going by the book it left a lot out. One of the things that most people like so much about the Greek gods and goddesses are just how human they are and how normal people can relate. They aren't these perfect beings. And also the gods often had children with mortals, then had nothing to do with them.

I thought the graphics and all that were cool, but I was overall kind of disappointed. There were some things that just made no sense to me, like the fake-hunter brothers who join up with them, the djinn and their scorpion taming powers. But then again, I'm not sure what I was expecting from the movie. Maybe less action and eye-candy and more detail about the mythology or something, I don't know.

I thought it was just good fun was not the greatest movie in the world but a nice homage to the original. Best part was when Perseus pulled out the mechanical owl and they tell him to leave it.

I want to see it and so does my oldest son who has been into greco-roman gods since percy jackson. i'm almost ashamed to admit that we both love the original which has been getting a lot of air time around here lately.

I loved the parts where Hades appeared. Spectacular!
