Do you think it might be a good idea to meet at AYM 2011 so that we can talk about cooperative ventures, such as, creating reading lists, buying, and things like that?
I know we have very limited budgets but we could take steps to ensure that at least one of us acquires essential but expensive titles.
LibraryThing means we have the makings of a union catalogue (not that I know how to do this yet) and this should make a difference to our bookish members. Frances

Last time I checked, LibraryThing had not yet put into operation their feature that searches a group's libraries. However, James Strong of Devonshire Street Meeting in Sydney has created a way to search all Australian Quaker libraries (that are on LibraryThing) at once -- that is, those of us who have joined this group. And, yes, I think a meeting of "Meeting Librarians" is always a good idea for AYM.
