I'll be interviewing Laurie R. King about God of the Hive. Please post questions for Laurie (an active LibraryThing member!) here before May 1.

I entered a message to Laurie R. King under what I thought was her site for answering general questions and comments about her books. I am new to this site and received many good suggestions from members, but I'm not sure I did it correctly. See if you are able to find my message. It would be from "mikesmom" If you are unable to find it, or if it is not the type of correspondence to send, please let me know. Thank you for your help. "mikesmom"

Wow - I am a huge fan! I'm looking forward to reading God of the Hive and I think my favorite book so far is O Jerusalem. I have enjoyed all your books but I think the abilty to blend the Holmes persona with history and weave in a new story is what I enjoy about O Jerusalem.

So, I guess my question is, where does the history come from? Is this all from research for your writing or were you a history teacher or what?

Thank you for your wonderful books and thank you in advance for taking our questions.

>2 mikesmom: You want to post questions here, on this thread. I'll choose some (or all) of them to ask the author.

I was just wondering if you think you will ever write more about Rae Newborn?

I would like to know...

In the research you've done for your books, what are some of your favorite pieces of information that you came across but weren't able to work into the story?
