For other (Latin character based) spellings the site « Katalog der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek » https://portal.d-nb.de/ offers very usefull lists with « Other spellings » .

examples:
1 - ger) Canetti, Elias, LT: Elias Canetti (1905–1994) ; DNB: http://d-nb.info/gnd/118518801 ; tag=Elias+Canetti
2 - ger) Coren, Yitzhak ; LT: יצחק קורן ; DNB: http://d-nb.info/gnd/103573658 ; tag=Yitzhak+Coren
3 - ger) Ehrenburg, Ilya; LT: Ilya Ehrenburg (1891–1967) ; DNB: http://d-nb.info/gnd/118529269 ; tag=Ilya+Ehrenburg
4 - ger) Sutzkever, Abraham ; LT: Abraham Sutzkever (1913–2010) ; DNB: http://d-nb.info/gnd/119007371 ; tag=Abraham+Sutzkever

This information might be very useful.

Is there a place for it? If yes where?
Could it be included in a field which could be edited as a single (browser) textbox or textfield? If yes could pipes could be used to separate the indivisual list items?

note: Deutschen Nationalbibliothek is not a LT data source. Unfortunately ISBN search without dashes is not suported.

However https://portal.d-nb.de/ suports (if the site is not sporadically failing) combined ISBN and EAN searches as:
3446146458+OR+3-446-14645-8+OR+9783446146457+OR+978-3-446-14645-7 .

From the « Koninklijke Bibliotheek » in The Netherlands I have the following links listing « Other spellings » :

1 - dut) Canetti, Elias
3 - dut) Ehrenburg, Ilya
4 - dut) Sutzkever, Abraham

in addition:
5 - dut) Brodskij, Iosif ; tag=Joseph+Brodsky
6 - dut) Gik, Evgenij ; tag=Evgeny+Gik
7 - dut) Kertész, Imre ; tag=Imre+Kertész

----

sorry for all the extra edits: This seems to be a FirefFox bug ( Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 ) when copying the urls in the Java script generated tag list at catalog.php .

FireFox escapes the « % » character twice when an url refering to characters as « é » is copied and pasted.

My copy and paste result was always
« &tag=Imre+Kert%25C3%25A9sz » and not
« &tag=Imre+Kert%C3%A9sz » .
