Is there a way to filter the catalogue for data sources?

I ask because I noticed that data source Südwestdeutscher Bibliotheksverbund SWB has a problem importing character « ð » . The imported character will be always (mostly) « º » :

Example: « Guðmundsson » will be « Guºmundsson »

It seems that all fields are affected.

Thanks for any advice!

Forwarding to Casey, who handles this stuff. I think they use a weird MARC variant.

Actually, can you give me a search that produces this? I want to make sure it's a current problem, not something you're seeing in old data. Also, Casey needs something to test on—and doesn't speak ?Icelandic.

I don't know what encoding SWB is using that is producing that. When I try to decode their data as Latin-2 the last author's name you list comes out like this:

Guşrún Nordal

as UTF-8 it comes out as:

Gurrdal

as Latin-1 it comes out as:

Guºrún Nordal

as KOI-8-R it comes out as:

Gu╨rЗn Nordal

WikiThing (LT) Search#Acceptable modifier prefixes shows
« source: book data source (e.g. Amazon) »
Could someone provide clickable examples here or on the help page please?

Please note also the questions on « talk:Search » .

Casey: Isn't this the little change that DANMARK has? I suspect this is a one-off—figure out waht the thorn is, and just change that one.
