I've got a sizable collection of books on LibraryThing, and I'd like to have a spreadsheet of them. I started one already, but, of course, it's a lot of work. Is there any way the Cue Cat can help me? Or is there a way for me to save my LibraryThing list as a file I can work with off-line?
Thanks,
Cynthia

Cynthia,
Click on the far-right tab ('More' - next to 'Zeitgeist'), and look for the Export function. You can get a file in either if two formats that are capable of being imported into Excel.
I maintain a parallel catalog in Excel (mostly for things that LT doesn't look at, like the dimensions of a book). Unless you've 'neutered' the CueCat, it will give you encrypted numbers.

Note that one export, CSV, has many fewer fields in it, but all of those fields are capable of being re-imported back into LT.
I use the Tab-Delimited export - it has a lot more fields, and I don't care about re-importing.
