cuddling

when do your doggies cuddle up? I sit in one corner of the couch to spend my evening watching Tv or on my laptop or read, next to me will be Gidget, then Speckles and Patches. Pixiesue will lie on the back of the couch with her chin or paw on my shoulder and sometimes even the cat will climb up on my lap. It makes for a cozy evening!

Sounds lovely, Polly! At present, Brontë comes up on my lap for a cuddle whenever she gets sleepy. She likes to lie on me until she is really dozy - then she'll either stay there to fall properly asleep or virtually roll off me onto the floor to sleep by my chair. She also likes to climb up on my bed for a morning cuddle somewhere around 6.30am (ish).

Pepper cuddles with me when she is scared but not super scared (when she is trembling scared she hides under things) also when it's just her and me at home, if my husband is home then it's just too hard to keep track of both of us for her to cuddle. But while I'm sleeping she is usually pressed right up against me.

Currently, My husband is away on business so this has been us for the last week and a half...

Finn randomly cuddles. He'll lay on mom's back (b/c Kirby curls behind her legs) when she's napping on the couch. He will cuddle with me if he's tired of playing and I'm reading. He'll also cuddle on the bed (when he's cold) behind my legs or behind my back. He always has to touch you, but doesn't want to be in front of you. He'll cuddle dad by laying across his belly.

Oh! Finn has been with us for a year now!

my dog, outlaw, only cuddles if it's past 8 o'clock at night. any other time he can't sit down. it's outlaw's first christmas so he's been barking a lot, but he is settling down.

I haven't posted here for a long time but cuddles is my favorite subject about Greta Garbo. She likes to sit right next to me on the sofa, with her back up against me. Guarding me, perhaps. But even more fun, sitting on my lap she will throw hereself backwards so that her tummy exposed...for a tummy rub,no doubt, and then nestle her head into my should. One would think she was still a baby...and she's about 5 1/2 years old.

Love the name, Gidget. :) I used to love that show. My pup Finn doesn't usually cuddle unless he's terrified, but when I'm laying on a pillow, he tries to be as close to me as possible- sometimes even sitting on my head. ^_^

Our Noah is kind of sneaky. He lures you to scratch his butt and then slowly backs into the chair with you, which leaves you two choices... move or be crushed!
