Adaptation - Henning Mankell's Wallender series

Just reading in today's Sydney Morning Herald that at last we'll get to see Kenneth Branagh as the Swedish detective Wallender in the TV series beginning on Sydney's Channel 7 this coming Saturday.

What a shame it won't be on the ABC, but even with those ludicrous ads the show will probably be worth watching.

I got it on DVD from the UK ages ago and yes it is well worth watching even with ads... great couple of adaptations and I love Kenneth Branagh in the role... its very 'moody'..

That's encouraging, primlil. I'm looking forward to it.
