A Southern Literary Trek

My definition of 'Southern' is flexible, but I've just finished a 4000-mile, month-long driving tour of several southern states, with the specific aim of including as many literary landmarks as possible. I shall over the next few weeks be expanding the comments on this list, adding numerous graphics:

I am so jealous. This would be my ultimate vacation.

Wonderful. Connemara is great fun in the spring when the baby goats are frolicing.

It was wonderful. My only problem now is where to choose for the next vacation!
