I have not been able to find any film or TV adaptations of Heyer's stories. It seems that none have ever been made. Does anyone know why this is? Is there any hope that we will ever get movies to enjoy?

I'm guessing it's to do with copyright issues. I have only ever seen a play based off The Talisman Ring here in Chicago, but I haven't even heard of any other ones...

How was the play, Aarti? I loved that book. I think there are parts of it that would translate well to the stage!

It was really wellmade! The theatre company focuses on novel-to-play adaptations, so they tend to do well with them. I really liked seeing Heyer on-stage, especially with the witty banter :-) Oh, Sir Tristram. Sigh.

Along with the 1950 adaptation of The Reluctant Widow, which I've posted in a separate thread, there seems also to have been a German version of Arabella:
