Ya gotta love this steam-punk water-cooled pc!

And of course it needs a monitor!

Ago 8, 2009, 10:32 pm

We need secret phones to contact the secret members about our secret meetings.

3mrgrooism
Ago 8, 2009, 10:41 pm

Perfecto!!!

4mrgrooism
Ago 9, 2009, 12:37 pm

WOOOO-HOOOOOO!!! The new headgear is in!

Who needs a pipe organ when you have... THIS!

Can a ultra-secret society have an internet store? Maybe we could use some existing outlet and just mix our items with the regular stuff.

The fez is actually for sale, for $55. It was made for another site, and I think they only have a few left, but THIS one works just as well!

The Wingnut Fez! Perfect! $50

Here is the link to the site!

I'm glad you said it was a wingnut. I thought it was a Mickey Mouse hat. A hat on a hat, as it were.

Keeping up with time is important, too! We don't want to be late for our secret meetings.

10jennieg
Ago 10, 2009, 12:17 pm

Too late . . .

11Choreocrat
Ago 12, 2009, 8:22 pm

Well, if you're running late, you might as well arrive in style:

12mrgrooism
Ago 13, 2009, 12:54 am

Ooooh, that would go well with the fez!

13MerryMary
Ago 13, 2009, 12:56 am

Can't you just see a streetful of little steampunk scooters ridden by fez-clad hugotontheonbiquiffinarians?

14cal8769
Ago 13, 2009, 9:11 am

Snort. That is such a visual! The only thing missing is the big backpack to carry all the books.

15jennieg
Ago 13, 2009, 10:52 am

I think we need decorated saddle bags--much easier on the back.

16gordon361
Ago 13, 2009, 4:24 pm

11> I saw a guy with a fez riding that in a local parade!

17mrgrooism

On second look, methinks she's leaking a bit of oil!

Only a bit?

Ooooh, I like things that go vroom.....

21jennieg
Ago 17, 2009, 10:26 am

I think those go pitter-pat.

22jillmwo
Ago 17, 2009, 11:04 am

But I can do the vroom-vroom sound myself!

23gordon361
Ago 17, 2009, 11:53 am

Those look more like a "whooooooosh"

but you have to Fred Flintstone it back up the next hill...

I have to post somewhere my first attempt at my own steam-themed wares. This is my Victorian era sonic-thingy:

It's mostly garden hose pieces with a vacuum tube, but watch out if it points in your direction. The pressure sensitive trigger isn't calibrated very well.

26suitable1
Sep 17, 2009, 12:05 am

Can it work as a zoomba remote control?

27justjim
Sep 17, 2009, 12:18 am

Why didn't you have that when we were attacked by the zombie dalek roombas?

28Nicole_VanK
Sep 17, 2009, 4:22 am

Ooh, a light sabre?

29justjim
Sep 17, 2009, 4:34 am

Probably more like light sabre lite.

Kinda big for the squirrels to handle.

Once you've picked up all those pesky pine cones, you can get on with mowing the lawn...

35jennieg
Jul 8, 2010, 10:25 am

oooh, I want one!

36justjim
Jul 8, 2010, 10:37 am

oooh, I want one!

The mini traction engine, the reel mower or the fogey with the pipe?

37jennieg
Jul 8, 2010, 11:11 am

Well I'm not particular, but I was focusing on the engine. The mower would be nifty, too, since then the engine could have a job. I already have my own fogey (without a pipe), so I'm set there.

38justjim
Jul 8, 2010, 11:34 am

Just making sure.

Fill in secret order form xb3885ch76 (decoded using secret code xa93y75hie (decoded using secret code .... ....)), ensuring that you mark the box allowing the Society to garnishee your immediate supervisor's* pay to the amount of 78¢ per quarter for 738 years. Your mini traction engine (without fogey) will be delivered by the next squirrel agent that passes by.

* If you happen to be self-, or un-employed, there is an additional page that you need to fill out to ensure that the requisite amount is withdrawn from the pay of your Supreme Commander/Head of Government/Sovereign (strike out whichever does not apply).

39jennieg
Jul 8, 2010, 12:00 pm

Thank you for clarifying that.

40justjim
Jul 8, 2010, 12:54 pm

My pleasure. You obviously use a definition of 'clarifying' that is new to me. ;)

41jennieg
Jul 8, 2010, 12:57 pm

It's all in the manual.

42justjim
Jul 8, 2010, 1:02 pm

Ahhh. The manual or the mini traction engine owner's manual?

No, sorry, silly question. I think a double-agent squirrel must have slipped something into one of the four glasses of Muscat that I've enjoyed tonight.

Carry on.

43suitable1
Jul 8, 2010, 1:03 pm

There's a manual?

44foggidawn
Jul 8, 2010, 1:11 pm

Aw, rats, I was hoping it was an automatic -- I don't know how to drive a stick shift.

45justjim
Jul 8, 2010, 1:12 pm

eshhhhhh*

*The sound of {censored} thousand {classified} hundred and fifty three Hugotontheonbiquiffinarians sucking through their teeth.

ps the 'fifty three' may have been Bowdlerised.

*hangs head*

Sorry, sorry.

47justjim
Jul 8, 2010, 1:24 pm

Actually you snuck #44 in whilst I was composing #45 in response to Suitable's #43!

You should learn to drive a stick shift though... just in case.

48cal8769
Jul 8, 2010, 1:38 pm

How much for the Fogey?

49jennieg
Jul 8, 2010, 2:42 pm

Mine or the one in the picture?

50hfglen
Jul 9, 2010, 7:29 am

#45 -- is this a new addition to the Manual, or has the Society always spoken Sarf Efrican (in which 'eish!' is a standard expression of surprise). If the latter, then, Ayoba!!

51mrgrooism
Jul 9, 2010, 12:06 pm

The new additions are in the new editions, which will be added when edited. The Manual continues to be highly classified, as well as highly ossified, so we need to requisition more chisels.

52Mr.Durick
Jul 9, 2010, 4:04 pm

I thought its classification was classified.
