I'm starting this post for those of you who just graduated (or are close). Feel free and share your story with the group.
I just gave my final presentation yesterday for my Capstone class. I am not walking at graduation, so I guess that means I am through now! I have been enrolled in the MLIS program at Valdosta State University in Georgia since the fall of 2007. I'm currently employed full time with a Medical Library, however I am in a paraprofessioanl assistant position. Since budgets are tight and a promotion is not an option, I will continue my other full-time job of looking for professional employment as a librarian. Wish me luck!

I'll finish my PhD in chemistry by the end of May. My final defense is next week. It's been a long road and there are very few jobs awaiting me at the end. So for now, the job hunt continues.

I finished my comprehensive oral exam last Friday. I now have a M.A. in INternational Affairs. Good times, although I feel like the transition from grad student to unemployed isn't going to be fun. the job hunt continues!
