Today I got some good, real mozzarella. I normally buy the Kraft variety...the part skim, low moisture stuff. It's cheaper, more convenient, melts better and it's pretty darn good. But today, I splurged and got some of the real stuff. Now, I just have to control myself so the whole thing lasts longer than a day :)

Ah, but remind yourself that the fresh stuff goes bad quickly, to you'll actually NEED to eat it up in a day or so. It's almost like it's not even the same kind of food, isn't it? My kids like the rubbery kind for pizza. I buy the whole milk block and hand grate it, but I prefer that soft gooy fresh glob for my own pizza. ;o)
