Can you identify this plant/flower?

We can't remember what this plant is in our yard. Anyone have an idea? It's blooming now in the PNW, US.

It's Red Flowering Currant, or Ribes sanguineum.

Boy, mine isn't that far along in Tacoma. Of course with today's snow, I'm not sure it isn't still mid winter instead of early spring... Yuck. I'm going to go back in my burrow and hibernate for another 6 weeks and hope for the best.

You know, I was wondering where you were located, teelgee. I am in Kent, on the East Hill, and have not seen even a hint of Red Flowering Currant! In fact, the skunk cabbages are only just starting to come up, never mind bloom.

I'm in Portland. We're a bit warmer here and usually things bloom earlier. Our crocuses and daphne are in full bloom and some daffodils are opening here and there too.
