A bit too expensive for my budget, I'm afraid...

OMG, I would just die for that trip. Well, it is the stuff fantasies are made of, eh? :-)

She's not going as a writer though, she's going as joint President of the Rare Bird Club.

Hey! I just want to let you all know that Margaret Atwood is travelling as both a represntative of the Rare Bird Club AND as a writer. Her lectures onboard will be literary-focsued. Here are her proposed topics:
1. Scrooge McDuck: “Payback” and the Scottish factor (miserly or not? Scotch tape? etc.)
2) Robert Louis Stevenson, with special emphasis on “Kidnapped”
3) Robertson Davies and JK Galbraith and Alice Munro and the “Scots” of South-western Ontario (in Canadian writing)

The trip is on the M/V Andrea which is only 96 passengers so you will definitely get one on one time with her. Adventure Canada is also offering 30% making the price from $4196 CDN (not $5995) if you give them a call! 1-800-363-7566
