NGS

Is anyone here a NGS member that is going to this years confrence? I was wondering if it was really worth all that money they want.

I'm an NGS member. It is always worth attending. The group in Raleigh has been doing a great job putting together this conference. I'm very impressed with the line-up of workshops and with the luncheon/banquet speakers, etc. for this year's conference.

P.S. I am attending this year (just in case you couldn't tell from my above post).

I haven't gone in several years, but when I did, it was well worth it. The speakers were wonderful and where else can you gather so many genealogists together to talk story?

I am leaving on a jet plane Tuesday for the conference and looking forward to all the excellent presentations---a wonder opportunity to learn.
