It has happened. There are now books/media tagged ultb held by more than one user. Gasp even me!

I checked mine -- nothing graduating to multiple ownership yet.

When I did my initial tagging, I had 139. A couple days later it was down to 128 - 11 books combined or added to have more than one person. I just checked again - 2 more have been added or combined (I suspect Glory and Praise was combined (5 total users), though I _swear_ I looked and it didn't exist before!). (and it was hard to find for the touchstone, too).

I lost a couple and gained a couple! I had two books that were all so owned by a library that had accidentally been put in among the general users. When the user was removed I gain two books!

I was so happy to have such a tag! If I truly have a ULTB than that's okay, but if I find where I can combine it, then I'm happy too.

I have to wonder about some of the users and the way in which they enter books, I wonder if they really think they are the only one who has copies, or if they just don't care about the library of anyone else?

A lot of people really don't care - Tim points out (regularly) that the people who use Talk a lot are less than half (less than 10%?) of the users of LT. If someone's using LT purely as a cataloging site, then as long as their library is correct they really don't care about other people's books. That's how I started out.

Of course, I eventually got sucked into the black hole that is Talk...and then I started combining...and...(g)

I wonder how many people are the other way. Have little to no libraries and just use the talk? I find that the talk end of LT is very rich and diverse. Not to mention that anyone with a mouse can start any wacko group! AND GET PEOPLE TO JOIN IT!!! I am still amazed!
