Another school year has just started or about to start. For those of us still doing coursework, I thought we might post one class we look forward to taking this semester. Or maybe you're department is letting you teach a class you're super psyched about.
This semester I'm taking a class on contemporary myth, where we look at the ways myth manifests itself in modern society (including science). Should be fun times.
I also get to teach film production for the first time and can't wait for that!
So what are yours?

I've got a US in the 19th century class that I'm excited about (2 weeks in). The professor is frighteningly brilliant, but really laid back at the same time. He likes to pit students against each other when he notices that groups in the class seem to form around different interpretations of the material. Plus his specialty is American religion, so that's good for me.

I have a couple of required course this semester that won't be fun, but it will be nice to get them out of the way.
However, I am looking forward to one seminar called "Religion in Critical Perspective." From looking at the book list, it seems a bit different from what I was expecting, but still should be a good class.
Teaching the same class I have taught the past 2 semesters, but with a much more organized enthusiastic teacher, and with a couple of good ethnographies (Anthropology grad. by the way).

Am teaching 4 and writing diss. Have a bunch of 15 and 16 year olds in a program designed to graduate them with an A.A. or A. S. three weeks before they get their high school diplomas -- sharp kids, lacking in life experience -- hopefully, they'll take to the whole college experience and add POSITIVE things to their life experiences.
