Hi everyone I'm new here (in the community and on LibraryThing in general).

I'm very curious about something. I've studied Shakespeare for years, and while I love his works, I do have a short list of least favorites. Top 3 least favorite: 1) Romeo and Juliet 2)Coriolanus 3) Troilus and Cressida. What are your least favorite Shakespeare plays?

(let me just say that I am not trying to start any arguments about the validity of one person's opinion over the other. I am genuinely curious. I think it's a topic that is never really discussed)

Thanks
JP

For me it's:
1) Pericles (absurdly wandering, overly complex plot; Marina is a flaming Mary Sue)
2) Taming of the Shrew (icky gender politics)
3) Coriolanus (boring!)

After that, it gets murkier: most of the rest have at least something in them that's enough fun that I'd feel guilty sticking them on this kind of list (except maybe Henry VIII, which I'm totally unfamiliar with).
