I'm working with the Three Rivers Art Festival and others to help plan a Book Fair for Pittsburgh. What do you think? It might be one weekend during the Arts Festival in June 2009 or some other time at the South Side Works or even some other location. The planning is just kicking off so who knows yet where and when.
We are in the very early stages of planning this. Let me know what you think about it and if you'd like to help out. At the very least let me know if you would like to attend a book festival event.
I hope the Pittsburgh LibraryThingers will want to have a booth or table to demonstrate what we do here.
We want the Pittsburgh Book Festival to be edgy so send me your thoughts. We also want to promote Pittsburgh writers of all genres. Send my contact info along to any Pittsburgh author or publisher that you know.
