I know that many LibraryThing users have strong (often negative) feelings about social networking sites. But for those of us who enjoy them, I thought I'd point out a couple of other NYRB groups.
the NYRB group on last.fm (a music site where you can keep track of what you listen to and stream radio stations based on your taste)
the nyrb group on facebook
If anyone knows of any other groups, either NYRB-related, or of interest to this group, post the links here. Or if you're willing to share your user names, that might be fun too.

Oh, I didn't know there was an NYRB group on last.fm! I'll have to check it out as I do have a last.fm account. I'm feldmarschallin over there.
ETA: It looks good! I just joined.

marietherese: thanks for joining. We don't tend to chat too much, but it's still fun to have a group. I do occasionally listen to the group radio, which is not bad.

I didn't know Facebook had a NYRB group - I have an account but don't check it anywhere near as much as my LT one. Still, it's nice to know that it's out there.

I joined the Facebook group so far I have just seen a few updates. It is just my full name on Facebook.

Well, we're still figuring out the best way to take advantage of the group—I don't actually run it myself. I don't think it's as good a place for discussion as LibraryThing.
But I think it will be useful for letting people know about events and book goings-on (there will be a bunch, particularly for the Magazine, in the fall—all around the country).
