Cataloguing in physical world

Hi all,

I am developing an idea that is the following: you enter a site, generate bunch of QR codes, print them, put on your books and then scan them to bind with ISBN.

Then those copies are added to your shelve, to the map, to your user and everybody can find it in OPAC.

What would stop you from putting the QR codes on your book copies? What would make you wanna do it?

This is 1% of the idea written in order to ask question to those who might be interested. The actual labels that you put on books allow you to later sell those books, add audio to the QRs, meet future owners of your physical copies etc.

I would be thankful for brainstorming because I kind of met a dead end. Partly because this idea is actually a library but nation-wide. I an Polish if there is anybody that would like to program together. It's build with Python and NextJS.

Thank for your attention!
