I would like to hear ideas and products for easily covering hardback books without jackets in a personal collection.
Thank you,

I use DuraLar (plastic) to protect many of my books. I buy it in rolls and can make a dust jacket in less than five minutes. I also make slip cases but they are more expensive ($10-$30) and take considerably more time - 2 hours over two days (glue has to dry between steps).

Thank you, but do you have any clear instructions on how you make these covers?

I have been making replacement paper jackets from decorated paper (Carta Varese) with computer printed spine labels. I put these jackets in paper-backed mylar covers just like regular jackets.
