I am interested mainly in Greek and Roman Archaeology, and of coure in Egypt and the Near East. Perhaps myfavourite site i have visited was Ephesus in modern western Turkey, but i am really excited about visiting Sagalasso in SW Turkey next year, which promises to rival Ephesus and maybe, in 20 years of on going excavations, surpass it in terms of revealing an almost complete ancient city.

I'm curious to see if anyone can help me with a question I have about two books I bought recently. I have a long standing interest in pre-classical Greece and the prehistoric Aegean. So I was excited to find the following Archaeology texts at a local (Wellington, New Zealand) bookstore. They cost me $25 NZ ($15.5 US) each.

The emergence of civilisation: The Cyclades and the Aegean in the third millennium B.C by Colin Renfrew

The dark age of Greece: An archaeological survey of the eleventh to the eighth centuries BC by Anthony M Snodgrass

Since then I've been told that these are both sought after titles in the field. I have no particular desire to sell either but am curious to see if anyone knows if they are worth anything? Both are hard back first editions with undamaged dustjackets
