Hi one of my pandemic projects was to create a catalog for our club's library. As part of this process I spent a fair amount of time indexing journals. I am stepping down as the club librarian and I doubt the next person has the interest or the skills to keep up the electronic catalog. If we stop paying the annual fee what will happen to the catalog I created? Will the whole site disappear or could people still use it to search the collection, but not use it to check things in and out? Thanks.

Hi OlympiaBonsaiClub, great question!
If your TinyCat subscription runs out without renewal, only the front-end of your TinyCat (the pages your visitors and patrons have access to: the homepage, search pages, and detail/book pages) will get disabled from view. You'll always keep full lifetime access to your LibraryThing account (where your library data actually lives), and you'll keep full access to your TinyCat Admin portal, where you can manage your subscription and settings and more.
This means that people could still view/search your LibraryThing catalog, but your TinyCat catalog would be hidden from view until you re-subscribed. I hope this helps.
Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help,
Kristi
