'Ask About' Button

Hi. We have a library, but with no official patrons. We use the 'Ask About' button to allow people to request a book. Is it possible to customise the notification email that gets generated and sent to us (the admins) when someone uses this form to submit a message.

Alas, there's no way to customize the automated emails that go out. You can customize the message at the top of the pop-up box when patrons select the "Ask About This" button, perhaps to ask that they leave in specific info in the Comment field, for example. Perhaps this could help you achieve what you're looking for?

>2 kristilabrie: Thanks so much for your swift reply. Thought I'd ask. I'll think about the suggestion you make.

I uploaded my 7500 books yesterday and I am wondering what to tell my boss concerning time element and when it will be ready to use. Also, I customized my home page to say Spencer Public Library instead of beverlymccraw so now when I search for my library cannot find.

>4 beverlymccraw: This thread is about the "Ask About This" button and the emails that go out, so in the future I would either start a new thread or send an email to tinycat@librarything.com.

That said, I'm not seeing any imports submitted from your beverlymccraw account here. Are you using another account (another username/login)? Can you send me the link to your TinyCat homepage and perhaps I can help?
