What are your recommendations on books on the Hanoverians and their accession to the British throne. Further, what is everyone favourite book on any of the first four Georges?

Not directly about a George, but Princesses: The Six Daughters of George III is both fascinating and readable. There are many excellent books about George IV, but I'm not at home and can't look through my shelves right now.

>2 Marissa_Doyle: Marissa, have your read Carolly Erickson's "Our Tempestuous Age?" It deals largely with society during the Regency Period after George III had fallen into incapacity and George, the Prince Regent, had not yet ascended to the throne. I particularly liked the treatment of the Prince's divorce from Carolyn.
