I've just finished White night - having started Fool Moon on the 25th March. Which means I've been reading about Harry for 3 straight weeks.

It's all been getting a bit much, and hard to disassociate the rest of my life from his world!

Anyone else read the series back to back? I think by the time I get the paperback of Small Favour sometime next year I'll only read the latest couple. I skipped Storm Front as it was.

I found it hardest the first time round to distinguish what happens where. I will need to re-read a couple of times now I think for it to really sink in. But to be fair that also probaly came from chewing through the books and not obsorbing them.

To be fair though I have not sat down and read all 8 (well 9 now) in one go.

I do always like to re-read series though when the new book comes out. But eventually you get to know the books so well you dont have to be so vigilant I think.

I know the feeling reading.LOL.

I didn't start getting into this series until last year, so I had 8 books to read. I think by the time I got to book 6 I was burnt out from reading back to back. I bought White Night when it was released in paperback version, but since it's been a long time since I picked up a book in the series, I may have to start over...heh. Oh well.

You definitely need a break no matter how much you want to start the next book.

I always try not to read more then three in one go as a general rule.
