I'm going to be writing a poem a day for the month of April, and in the past I've found it really helpful to work from exercises and prompts.
Unfortunately, I pretty much exhausted the ones in the poetry writing book I have, Writing Poems, doing this last year, so now I'm looking for a new book to try this time around.
Any recommendations people have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The Ode Less Traveled by Stephen Fry is pretty great - I highly recommend it, and it has lots of exercised for writing your own poetry.

This one is great. I’ve used it in poetry workshops lots. In the Palm of Your Hand: The Poet's Portable Workshop by Steve Kowit. This is great too - I never Told Anybody: Teaching Poetry Writing to Old People by Kenneth Koch.
