As the subject says, the book title I'm looking for is a light summer read, fiction, about a missing painting.
The book is about a girl that inherits her aunt's estate or house. The aunt was an artist and there's a priceless piece of art missing. The story revolves mostly around finding the missing piece of art and the family's history. The work of art turns out to be a post modern art piece, like an abstract work of art that just looks like a drop cloth until she realizes that it's signed. I'm also pretty sure it was set in the USA, somewhere in the south, and present day, or 90s at the earliest.
I'd guess that it was probably published sometime between 2000 and 2020, I know that doesn't narrow it down much, but I'm not really sure about this part.
