Yes, The Strand is great, but it is always crowded. This subterranean bookstore is small but home to a good selection of fiction paperbacks all in excellent condition. There is also a fine philosophy and politics section. With plenty of coffee shops nearby it is well worth a trip if you are in the neighbourhood.
