2022 Plans?

When do we start looking at categories for 2022 challenge? I noticed that by October 31, 2020 we were voting on categories for 2022. I am anxious to get started. I hope I did not miss something somewhere?

>1 LadyoftheLodge: I expect we will soon be seeing a Planning thread for 2022. I am ready to start planning as well. I love making plans and lists - even if I don't always follow them!

I'm planning to create the new group on Thanksgiving Monday, October 11, taking advantage of the statutory holiday here in Canada ;)

Also, as group admin, I now have the power to PIN TOPICS, muahaha! So thanks LadyoftheLodge for starting this thread! I've pinned it to make it more visible to everyone :)

>4 rabbitprincess: Look at you pinning topics! I'll be following along. I think I've already decided on my 2022 challenge, but I'm excited to see what everyone else comes up with!

Is it that time of the year already? Oh my, it is. How exciting!

>4 rabbitprincess: Thanks for making my day! I am excited to start my plans and lists for 2022, although I have been thinking about what my challenges might look like.

I am unfeasibly pleased with my theme for 2022 - as usual its link to my actual categories is pretty tenuous, but it'll be worth it for the thread title alone (even if I'm the only one who gets it, it'll still make me smile every time I see it!). Also curious about what the CAT suggestions will be this time round.

I can't start planning yet, because if I do, I will "give up" on this year and be on my new adventure! I have to wait till December!

YAY! I'm pretty much writing off the rest of this year so I'm looking forward to resetting and 2022! :-)

I'm looking forward to the new year of books too. I won't post anything until much later because I always change direction at the last minute. Can't wait to find out which CATs and KITs are chosen.

Yay, yay!
Should I be concentrating on the books I need to finish this year?
Of course!
Am I heading straight over to the 2022 group?!
Yes, yes, I am!

>22 syedlearns: I suggest you go on over to the 2022 Challenge group and see what is going on there. No rules really, just select how you want to participate, or make your own categories, which is what most of us do.

>22 syedlearns: I took a look at your profile, and it doesn't look like you're a person, but rather a website. This is a place for book lovers to talk about books and reading.

I'm in, too! This year, I basically stopped reading in May, so there's no reason to linger over it anymore. I'll head straight over to the new challenge and start planning! Yay!

>30 MissBrangwen: No, please don't linger over it! I slowed way, way down in my reading as well, and now is the time to start the new reading year.
