They had a reprint of the Jungle Book a few days ago but prior to that it was down to the last 40ish copies, which is why it’s in the Last Chance to Buy section. I’m not sure why books stay there after they have been restocked.

Given that nearly out-of-stock books don't always make it to the Last Chance page in time (or at all!), it would suggest that the Last Chance page toggle is an entirely manual process.

>2 l.gallagher: Yes, as treereader implied, I'm sure it's that someone forgot to uncheck the box on the backend that causes it to show up in the Last Chance section.

Just wondering, which book is running out of stock and not featuring on the Last Chance to Buy page?
I thought it was automatic..

Love Lies bleeding and Twelfth Night both have counters, but are not on that page.

Didn't they outsource/purchase the new website? If so, they might not have the technical skills on staff to change things. Adding new automation, however trivial, comes at a cost. Frankly, automating the Last Chance feature isn't likely to make them any money. We might see it improved upon whenever the next website overhaul occurs.
