Found: YA/Middle Grade book (possibly a series? Definitely had a sequel) about a girl transported to Fairy land in her dreams

I'm pretty sure this book was from the 2000s and had a green cover, and I think the protagonist was a redhead. She was formerly from California, had moved and she had to go on a quest in Fairyland in her dreams. Another girl her age (a blond I think?) Was also human and temporarily there who helped her. The next book was about her and I distinctly remember a dream described at the end about a garden, grapes and a mask with a song that she wrote down the lyrics to. And it might have involved her grandmother?
It's not the girl who fell below Fairyland or any book in that series, and it's not the fairy realm/charm bracelet series which are the two things that mostly come up when I Google it.
Any help would be appreciated!!

i think this is the same book ive been trying to find,does she have a brother?
And wasnt there a swamp lady who tried to eat her brother or am i speaking of a different book.

The cover had a full body picture of her, I think inside an oval
Her parents might've gotten a divorce which caused the move?
I believe she called California "calif"
