Simone was raised by her grandmother. While preparing her grandmother's house for sale, she came across a letter addressed to her. The letter told her to go to France to search for a family treasure. Simone's friend encouraged her to go to France on a search as Simone might even find family while visiting. Simone met a nice man, a watchmaker, on the flight to Paris. He was on his way to Norway to spread his father's ashes, but was planning to visit clock makers in France. Simone thought about Kyle the whole time she toured Paris by herself. Then she took the train to her grandmother's town in the French Alps. What would she find there?
This was a simple, no frills, sweet romance with a bit of mystery. There wasn't much for any secondary character development. The plot was simplistic; thus a quick read. I wish there had been more detail and plot development. As it was, I was a bit bored and didn't become engaged in anything which would make me want to pursue a sequel.
